The first Class experience is not one you’ll soon forget. My last trip on this Eurostar train was on the 1st class level and it was a delight of a trip. I almost wish the train ride from London to Paris took longer because I was in heaven. If you want to save some money, you can take the overnight in second class and just sleep it off. This is also an option when you have very little travel time, but the day trip is really worth it. If you’re taking the train mid trip, and are somewhat tired, then I recommend it as a nice breather. Did I mention that you travel to speeds of 186 MPH!!?!
There are a few things to note about this trip. You are required a passport to travel on this train from London to Paris, or from Paris to London. Reservations must be confirmed at least 72 hours in advance by calling the reservation center in London. First class tickets will net you a days worth of delectable meals that were some of the best eats of my trip. This is usually recommended by travel guides as a worthy spend just for the trip experience itself.
